As your settlement bank, JSPPB Aval will provide your enterprise with the following:
Installation of necessary equipment at retail/service points.
Training courses on servicing cardholders and executing card transactions.
Bank card authorization at the time when purchase/service payments are made.
Collection of slips — free of charge.
Payment of transaction amounts within the shortest period.
Provision of required operational material — free of charge.
Hot line consultations, should any difficulties emerge during the course of a transaction.
Equipment required for conducting transactions:
The Bank will install all necessary equipment: an electronic terminal or imprinter free of charge (or for a minimum fee), depending on the anticipated volume of card transactions at your enterprise.
An "Imprinter" is a mechanical device used to print slips for card transactions. Using an imprinter, the cashier proceeds as follows:
Phones the Bank to obtain an authorization code.
Makes an imprint of the card on the slip, using the imprinter
Fills in client data onto the slip.
All slips are then forwarded to Raiffeisen Bank Aval. Collection of slips is made either by the enterprise, or the Bank (as agreed).
An electronic terminal (POS-terminal) is an electronic device, which works with the banking system in on-line mode. Using a POS-terminal, the cashier proceeds as follows:
Places the payment card into the reader, at which point the terminal reads data from the card's magnetic strip and conducts an automatic authorization via the Bank.
Prints a check.
At the end of each day, forwards a file containing data on all transactions to Raiffeisen Bank Aval.
The availability of such a terminal allows you to accept Visa Electron and Cirrus/Maestro payment cards, considerably accelerating transactions and significantly reducing the reimbursement period of executed transactions.
